Cally Energy is a non-profit community project that aims to raise awareness of green energy and develop and deliver solar community energy projects in the Caledonian and Barnsbury Wards.
Cally Energy works with local people to raise capital and install solar panels on community assets - buildings in the Caledonian and Barnsbury wards. Carbon emissions and energy bills for those buildings are reduced and surplus energy is sold back to the grid. Profits are reinvested in reducing local fuel poverty and using the project to engage and educate young people about the importance of green energy to help combat climate change
We are a community renewable energy organisation created by local residents for local residents. We want to talk to you about our project, listen to your feedback and invite you to get involved so let’s start a conversation.
